I think it's okay to use humor to cope with heavy emotions brought about by art or even just as a method of absurdism but while I believe that I also believe that you must balance this with genuine engagement of art and the thoughts and feelings it provokes or your soul will rot into an infinite blackness and when you look to find your vulnerability behind your humor one day you will find that it is somewhere lost to time.

My crackhead theory? Loki has the legendary Unicorn-Unicorn Fruit, and his hybrid form gives him a third horn, thus making his silhouette accurate

just remembered i can post whatever i want on tumblr so i can explain every choice i make in an art piece. so my last piece is from snows point of view lol and ik its a little cringe and overdone at this point but u just know he was thinking abt lucy grey the whole time w katniss. the tbosas soundtrack had me crying after i finished the book and then i finished the MOVIE. and immediately started drawing lucy grey and katniss!!

originally i was gonna have it be snowing, to represent (u guessed it) snow. then i hated how it looked. SO the background started out as blood and then i added fire because the plain red looked a little flat. I wanted to visually separate lgb and katniss to show that one was not actually there, so i did some linear burns and separated them with the flame halo. lgb has some smudgy makeup that u cant rlly see after the effects and katniss is wearing her moms dress which is the same color as her eyes. i wish i could tell u this was more thought out than it was but i rlly just wanted to draw them.

yes i know . There are more parallels between other characters. But i am a katniss lgb parallel truther. i may make more thg art because im a 2012 tween at heart.
